Course Learning Objectives/Outcomes

By the end of the course, the Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, Social Worker or Psychologist will be able to:

-Discuss three modes of evaluating fetal alcohol spectrum disorder.

-Discuss three recidivism risk factors of psychiatric hospitalization.
-Explain the extrinsic barriers to seeking substance abuse treatment among pregnant addicts.
-Name four anger expression styles.
-Explain the relationship discovered between four or more "adverse childhood experiences" (ACE) and various destructive behaviors.
-Explain how John reacts to being frequently sedated or given medication via intramuscular injection while being restrained in the case study.
