By the end of the course, the Psychologist will know or be able to do the following as a result of having taken this course...

-Discuss how competitiveness becomes a hurdle in play therapy.
-Identify challenges that might change group dynamics.
-Explain an activity that student can use in improving impulse control and decision-making.
-Describe what teachers notice about students with experiential exposure.
-Identify one activity that will improve students' teamwork.
-List two reasons for a relationship between children' s fantasy play and emotional understanding.
-Explain seven characteristic behaviors exhibited by a maltreated child during play. 

The instructional level of this course is introductory, intermediate, or advanced depending on the learners clinical area of expertise.
