By the end of the course, the Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, Social Worker or Psychologist will be able to:

-Name three behavior problems in children exposed to domestic violence.
-List three ways how children express their anger.
-Explain three results of domestic violence to child victim-witnesses.
-Describe three child adjustment problems.
-Describe clustering as a technique used for children subjected to domestic
violence.
-Explain the advocate response to a battered woman who is not committed to protecting her children. 
-Explain the consequence of domestic violence program’s focus on protecting women and children from immediate danger.
-Name two consequences occurring simultaneously for children observing violence.
-Name four childhood predictors of adult violence.
-Explain under what circumstances did the beating of mothers most occur, according to Hoff’s discoveries.
