The Healthcare Training Institute is an approved by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB, provider #1073) and the American Psychological Association (APA, #1537) to offer continuing education. 40 contact hours of continuing education are required every 2 years. 30 of these hours may be earned in home study courses. 3 hours of Ethics must be included in each renewal. The deadline for submitting contact hours is December 31 of odd years. AL-Psy: The Alabama Board of Examiners in Psychology at (334) 242-4127 accepts these Home-study and On-line Courses for purposes of psychologist licensure renewal. Since home study is considered Category-I all 60 hours can be gotten in home study. License expires on April 30th of odd years. AZ-SW: The Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners at
(602) 542-1882 accepts these ASWB approved audio home study Clock Hours of Continuing
Education as being equivalent to attending a seminar or workshop. Since these
clock hours do not fall under independent study, there is no limit set for them.

Up to 20 Hours of Home Study may be applied toward Social Work relicensure in a two-year period.
